Interfaith book read offered via Zoom

PORT ANGELES — Interfaith of Clallam County will read “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Kimmerer for its 2021 Winter Spiritual Read.

According to a press release, the book invites readers to learn from the natural systems around us in order to build a reciprocal relationship with the earth and all of its creatures.

The annual book read currently has seven discussion groups. Each of them will meet on Zoom once per week for eight weeks.

Participants should register by emailing interfaith clallamcounty@gmail.com with the group they would like to join.

Groups are currently set to meet at 1 p.m. Sundays, facilitated by Bob Nuffer; 2 p.m. Mondays, facilitated by Tim West and Margaret Denstad; 7 p.m. Tuesdays, facilitated by Asha Burson-Johnson; 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays, facilitated by Robert and Marilyn Eash; 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, facilitated by Diana Somerville; 10 a.m. Thursdays, facilitated by Marilyn Eash; and 2 p.m. Thursdays, facilitated by Donna Little.
