THE 12TH ANNUAL Lavender Festival runs today through Sunday in and around Sequim, which is trademarked as the Lavender Capital of North America.
The Street Fair is free, and runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday on Fir Street between Sequim and Third Avenues.
Admission to the eight lavender farms on the festival tour requires a $15 button, available at the Street Fair, Kitsap Bank branches in Port Townsend, Port Angeles and Sequim and many other locations. Children under 12 years old area admitted free of charge.

Free parking is available in Sequim at the QFC lot, 990 E. Washington St., and at the JC Penney lot, 609 W. Washington St.
