Hospice orientation sessions planned

PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct both an online orientation and an in-person session for potential volunteers.

An in-person session will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the hospice office, 829 E. Eighth St.

The online sessions will stream on Zoom from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday.

A second in-person session is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in Sequim.

Directions to the Sequim session will be provided upon registration.

Online participants will need a computer equipped with a camera, microphone and speakers, a tablet or a smartphone.

Interested participants must register by calling 360-452-1511 or emailing vsm@vhocc.org by noon on the day prior to the session they want to attend.

A variety of volunteer opportunities, including office staff and loaning or delivering equipment, are available.
