Holiday events on Peninsula

Candlelight services and other holiday events are among the weekend’s activities on the North Olympic Peninsula.

PORT ANGELES

Lake Crescent

PORT ANGELES — Lake Crescent Lodge will serve a Christmas Eve prime rib dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and a Christmas Day Brunch on Sunday.

Reservations are recommended for the Christmas Eve meal and are required for the Christmas Day Brunch at the lodge at 461 Lake Crescent Road.

SEQUIM

Candlelight service

SEQUIM — King’s Way Foursquare Church plans Christmas Eve candlelight services, including Christmas carols, at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

The public is invited to the church at 1023 Kitchen-Dick Road.

Singing bowls

SEQUIM — The public is invited to experience the sound of quartz crystal singing bowls from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today.

The demonstration will be at Shipley Center at 921 Hammond St.

Conversation Cafe

PORT TOWNSEND — Conversation Cafe will meet at 11:45 a.m. today.

BRINNON — The Brinnon Community Church plans a candlight service at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Singalong

QUILCENE — The Quilcene Bible Church plans a candlelight service with a singalong at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The church is at 295643 U.S. Highway 101.

QUINAULT

Santa visit

QUINAULT — Lake Quinault Lodge will present Christmas Eve with Santa at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Santa and one of his pack llamas will stop by Lake Quinault Lodge, 345 S. Shore Road.

He will sit by the fire and read “The Night Before Christmas,” visit with children and hand out presents.

After Santa’s visit, chestnuts will be roasted over an open fire.
