Grief support group to begin in January

PORT ANGELES — Registration is being accepted now for Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County’s eight-week grief support group series.

The free support group will meet from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. each Tuesday from Jan. 17 to March 7.

The group will meet at Hospice House at 810 S. Albert St., which is directly behind the main office on Eighth Street in Port Angeles.

Registration is required because the group size is limited.

In the support group, members can share their feelings and experiences with others, gain a clearer understanding of the grieving process, and acquire coping strategies and skills for the emotional pain of loss, organizers said.

For more information or to register, phone the hospice office at 360-452-1511.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County provides free services to terminally ill patients and their families.

For more information, call the office or go online at www.vhocc.org.
