PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Master Gardeners will host a garden walk from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

The free, guided tour is part of the Second Saturday Walk series in the Fifth Street Community Garden, 328 E. Fifth St.

The gardeners will focus on what should be happening in the vegetable garden.

The tours focus on vegetables that grow well in this climate, what needs to be done in the garden at this time of year and control measures for common pests and diseases.

Topics for the August walk include powdery mildew, harvesting onions and common tomato problems.
