PORT TOWNSEND — Cynthia Daily will present “Ambassador Owls and Friendly Woodpeckers” at 10 a.m. Saturday
Daily will speak at The Friends of Fort Townsend’s annual meeting in the Friends’ Barn on Fort Townsend State Park, 1370 Old Fort Townsend Road.
Daily, the director of Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue, will be accompanied by several ambassador owls as she discusses the natural history of the owls and woodpeckers that live in the park.
The free gathering is open to all; a Discover Pass is required for parking.
