Fiber scarves by Renne Emiko Brock will be part of the “Transformative Style — Originality, Revolution and Repute” exhibition Saturday in Sequim.

SEQUIM — The North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival Fiber Arts Show and Sale will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The show — and a chance to meet the artists and learn more about fiber arts — will be at Sequim Museum & Arts, 175 W. Cedar St.

During the last day of the “Transformative Style – Originality, Revolution, & Repute” art exhibition, visitors can take part in a special Small Business Saturday Fiber Arts Market event supporting local artists and producers selling fiber to finished products.

Unique gifts of fine art, wearable art, accessories, housewares, yarn and fleece will be available.

Creators of the pieces will be on hand to tell about the methods used to make them.

The event is part of the North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival — which is an educational and economic opportunity to learn about Olympic Peninsula fiber artists and related businesses that maintain traditional and innovative techniques in raw fiber, yarns, textile home goods, apparel and fine art while fostering community inclusion and teaching future generations.

Several small, home-based businesses are selling at the North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival Fiber Arts Market at the Sequim Museum & Arts including Lynn Baritelle, Renne Emiko Brock, Jan Tatom, Jean Wyatt and others. They will display the hashtag #ShopSmall and signage of participating businesses.

See FiberArtsFestival.org for more information.
