PORT ANGELES — Rosalinda Castiglioni will present “Shopping and Cooking for One” at 1 p.m. Thursday.
The hybrid workshop is in the conference room at Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, 829 E. Eighth St.
Castiglioni, a retired educator, will discuss shopping for small quantities, creating varied menus and storing leftovers.
The presentation is the first workshop in VHOCC’s Empower Yourself: Practical Tools for Living Alone series, which offers support and practical advice on everyday challenges for those who have lost a loved one or are preparing to live alone.
Future presentations in the weekly series include, “Household Finances” with Penney Sanders and “Self-Care” with Debby Smith and Maggie Bourne-Raiswell.
