PORT ANGELES — Michael Brophy will present “The Orphan Train Movement: History, Genealogy, Legacy” at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Brophy will speak over Zoom; the presentation will also be showing at the Clallam County Genealogical Society’s research center, 403 E. Eighth St.
Brophy is an heir search specialist, researcher and lecturer from the Boston area.
He will discuss the orphan trains which, between 1854 and 1929, transported more than 200,000 children from New York to the Midwest.
