PORT ANGELES — The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will discuss “Killers of the Flower Moon,” by David Grann at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The monthly group meets in the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
In January, the group will discuss the novel, “The Bonesetter’s Daughter” by Amy Tan.

Senior dance
PORT ANGELES — Cat’s Meow will perform for a swing dance from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The dance will be in the Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
Refreshments will be served from 8 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person; first-time attendees are admitted free.
Movie screening
PORT ANGELES — A free screening of the film “Saving the Dark” is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The film, part of Olympic National Park’s Perspectives series, will be shown in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
The 2018 documentary explores the need to preserve dark night skies and what we can do to combat light pollution.
The film was created in association with the International Dark-Sky Association.

PORT HADLOCK — Library staff will present “Staff’s Favorite Apps for 2019” from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The class is part of the Tech Tuesday series at the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave.
Staff will share their favorite Apple and Android apps and show attendees how to download them to their tablets or smartphones.
Tech staff will be available from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. after the class for drop-in tech assistance with phones, tablets or other devices.

Arts to elders
PORT TOWNSEND — Harmonica Pocket will perform a free concert at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The concert will be at Avamere at Port Townsend, 1201 Hancock St.
Regular members of the rotating group include Keeth Monta Apgar, vocals, guitar, ukulele and harmonica; Jon Ryser, alto saxophone; Nala Walla, vocal harmony and Hula Hoop; and P.K., stand-up bass.
The performance is part of the Arts to Elders series sponsored by Northwind Arts Center and funded by the Rotary Club of Port Townsend and an anonymous donor.

Anglers to meet
PORT TOWNSEND — David Stormer and Mark Baltzell will address a meeting of the East Jefferson Chapter of Puget Sound Anglers at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The group meets monthly at the Port of Port Townsend office, 333 Benedict St.
Social time will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Stormer and Baltzell will discuss fisheries management with emphasis on salmon, salmon hatcheries, recreational fishing opportunities and Southern Resident orcas.
The public is invited to attend this free meeting.
