SEQUIM — Tiffany Banning recently graduated from the Washington City/County Management Association’s third Northwest Women’s Leadership Academy.
Banning is the support services supervisor for the Sequim Police Department.
The academy helps to prepare women for leadership roles in local government.
Banning and 34 other women leaders completed the 10-month program that included instruction in strategic leadership, planning, finance, budget, community engagement, communication and equity and inclusion.
A fourth cohort of women leaders will begin classes in October.
