SEQUIM — An art form unique to the Pacific Northwest will be displayed at the Lavender Weekend Driftwood Art Show today through Sunday.

The show — the Olympic Driftwood Sculptors’ biggest of the year — will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the Sequim Middle School cafeteria, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.

The group will present some 150 sculptures from 40 contributing artists. Club members will be on hand to answer questions about classes, techniques and tools.

Demonstrations of works in progress will be provided, and visitors can shop in the Driftwood Boutique.

Local businesses QFC and Sequim Dungeness Nursery have donated flowers and potted plants for the event.

More information is available at www.olympic driftwoodsculptors.org.

The event is part of Sequim Lavender Weekend (www.sequim lavenderweekend.com).
