YOU, MY LOYAL readers, have been excellent the couple of times I asked you to support me or a cause!
You came out in droves for helping light up the ice skating rink. You came out in hordes when the request went out to assist in mulching the “super playground” when it was first built … well, now I am asking once again.
The rebuild of the playground is in real need of skilled carpenters and skilled construction workers.
This coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 8 a.m. (May 17-19) across from Civic Field on Race Street in Port Angeles.
Any or all days would be greatly appreciated.
Also, if anyone has newer cordless drills and drivers, battery and chargers, you would be heaven-sent as well.
In addition, any of my faithful gardeners who have experience with fence building — there is a desperate need for this skill set of volunteers starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 15.
The entire playground needs to be ringed with a fence, and you could make all the difference in the world (Thursday and Friday as well).
And finally, the chance to get free (unlimited) gardening and consultation: starting at 8 a.m. Thursday morning, May 16, I will be laying the paver area for this project.
Please, please, please, if anyone has previous experience in laying pavers, pathways or patios — come and join my team.
I’ll answer all your garden questions.
