LETTER:Vote Republican

We do not have to settle for legislators who ignored flawed drug laws, despite years of warnings, then declined to fix the problem after the state Supreme Court threw out those flawed laws.

We do not have to settle for legislators who hamstring responsible law enforcement’s ability to respond to crime, with supposed reforms they refuse to reverse even once said reforms prove detrimental to public safety.

We do not have to settle for legislators who consistently vote for tax increases the majority of voters consistently say, in advisory votes, they disapprove.

We do not have to settle for legislators who refuse to provide oversight or restraint of the governor’s unending emergency powers.

We do not have to settle for the incumbent District 24 legislators.

Our primary election ballots offer better choices.

Take your pick: Matthew Rainwater or Sue Forde for Position 1 and Brian Pruiett or Darren Corcoran for Position 2.

With two challengers apiece, both our mis-Representatives should be eliminated in the top two primary.

Vote by Aug. 2 for better choices in November.
