I’ve read with disgust the story in the PDN about the Port Townsend City Council, among others, calling for a Gaza cease fire.
How wonderful.
Where were they on Oct. 7 and the weeks preceding it when Hamas fired 5,000 rockets into Israel killing and maiming men, women, children and the elderly.
Where were they when Hamas death squads infiltrated the border with Israel and slaughtered men, women, children and the elderly in a most gruesome manner and abducted still others for use as bargaining chips in their political blackmail.
Where were they when Israel pleaded with the UN for help in stopping terror attacks against Israeli citizens.
Now, when Israel has finally had enough, and seeks to root out the Hamas terrorists from Gaza in hopes of securing their border and protecting its citizens, everyone is calling for a cease fire, while praising Hamas and depicting them as the victims.
This portrayal is so blatantly anti-Semitic it defies belief.
Hamas and their Iranian sponsors will be satisfied with nothing less than Israel’s complete annihilation.
They say they want peace, but that is a lie. Israel needs and deserves a decisive victory in Gaza.
Are we setting the stage for another holocaust?
I pray to God that we are not.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
