Why does the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe think they are being responsible when they say that patients will not be allowed to loiter at their Healing Campus when those same patients will then loiter, night and day, somewhere else in Sequim?
We don’t have enough housing for residents of Sequim, let alone daily visitors for drug treatment.
These people will supposedly have to come in daily for their dose.
Who is going to have time to police that?
I doubt it will be that well-organized.
I don’t think they will attract quality workers to take care of the clientele.
This is such a poor location choice for a major drug clinic.
The citizens of Sequim do not deserve to have this built in our midst.
We live away from the big cities to avoid the drug population.
The last thing we want or need is to have more of them imported to our area.
I urge every citizen reading this who feels it is wrong to build the MAT clinic in Sequim to join Save our Sequim.
Make a donation, carry a sign, wear purple, voice your displeasure to the people responsible for telling us it is being built and we have no say in the future of our little town.
