LETTER:Ruling by the people

Each election is a ruling by the people on how the government is working for them.

Let’s review.

At the state level, Inslee conveniently rescinded his 975-day emergency authority to coincide with the election.

He required state employees to be vaccinated or lose their jobs.

He closed schools, churches, and destroyed several hundred businesses statewide.

Over two thousand state employees lost their jobs.

Hundreds of senior staff chose to retire rather than bow.

The Democratic legislature did nothing.

Well, not nothing, they hobbled law enforcement, raised taxes, outlawed gas cars and ensured the latest woke silliness.

At the national level our government printed and distributed lots of money, radically restricted gas production, found another foreign war and opened the southern border.

Our federal government trained our military officers in the proper use of pronouns and other critical skills.

Inflation climbs and stocks fall while half of America is declared “a threat to democracy.”

They ensure everyone knows how to think about these things via the media machine.

This, in less than two years.

We have to vote them out.

Voter turnout is critical.

Every woke politician shares in the above list.

But there are alternatives.

At the national level: Tiffany Smiley.

At the state level: Sue Forde, Brian Pruitt and Elizabeth Kreiselmaier.

At the local level: Bill Peach.

One more thing: regardless of what they tell you, Donald Trump is not on the ballot.
