LETTER:Priority to elders

It is wonderful that the Jamestown clinic is organizing the vaccination in Sequim for COVID and that many Sequim folks aged 70-years and older have already gotten the vaccine.

However due to the first come first serve way it was organized many were frustrated by arriving at 3-4 a.m. to wait in long lines which were then closed before they reached the front.

My suggestion for future clinics is to continue to give registration priority to the 70-years and older group until the majority has been served and then offer the vaccine to the 65-years and older group.

The new registration system will be very helpful to those of us who are anxious to get the vaccine and the upcoming system should give priority to those older than 70-years first and then those who are younger.
