In a column, Cal Thomas asks whether Vice President Harris will be held accountable for violating the Hatch Act.
And while he answers his own question correctly, no, he attributes this to Washington protecting its own, “unless the person a Republican or Donald Trump.”
This is exactly the type of answer that stokes the fires of partisan discord at the expense of honesty.
The truth is that she didn’t violate the Hatch Act because it does not apply to the president or vice president.
Do you really believe the columnist doesn’t know this?
No, me either.
As an aside, don’t you find it amusing that Thomas differentiated between Republicans and Donald Trump?
