The author of the Nov. 12 letter “Factual Coverage” wrote to you objecting to the headline “Biden wins; Trump will fight” from the PDN on Nov. 8, five days after the election.
I checked back to four years ago, and found a Nov. 10 PDN front page with two headlines, “Trump team looks ahead to transition” and “Locals split over Trump’s surprise win.”
That was just two days after the election.
It does not appear that the writer objected to presenting a narrow Trump victory in electoral votes as a victory. He only objects to a victory in both popular votes and electoral votes when the decision goes to a Democrat.
That’s not supporting integrity. That’s supporting bias.
