LETTER: World disapproves of President Trump’s leadership

Throughout 2017, Gallup conducted a World Poll Survey.

This survey is important because it shows the world’s opinion of the first year of the Trump administration.

This survey shows what the world thinks of our country.

This is important because if we, the United States, needs the support of the world, what will be their response?

This survey shows that the approval of U.S. leadership has fallen 18 percent in the last year.

The world does not trust us.

Longtime friends Portugal, Belgium, Norway, and Canada dropped 40 percent in trust.

Most other countries polled dropped at least 10 percent.

“Global approval of Trump’s leadership is now 4 percent lower that where it stood when President George W. Bush left office,” according to media reports.

The steep rise in disapproval, Gallup said, also set a new record.

It’s the largest rise seen in the past decade for worldwide perceptions of any major global power.

We need the help of the rest of the world to be the best we can be.

We need to change the way the world supports the U.S.

The way you change support is to put people in charge of our country that world respects.

So, the whole point of the letter is to beg all of you to think about how you can make our country great again.

The current administration is putting us in that hole the president described.

Do something, anything.
