Here it is again, Sept. 11 and no flags.
It’s a shame for Port Angeles when 17 miles away, the whole town and the fire department are displaying Old Glory in Sequim.
Every holiday, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day, Memorial Day and now Sept. 11, there are no flags downtown.
I realize that a nonprofit group placed flags in the past, but if the city has funds to pay part-time help in the summer, what’s wrong with them placing the flags on these holidays?
Port Angeles was voted one of the best small towns in the U.S. [by Outside magazine in 2015.]
This doesn’t show it to me.
Look at Sequim.
Come on, get it together.
