LETTER: Wear it properly

Whoops, your mask is slipping.

While shopping at a local grocery recently, I was pleased to see everyone wearing a mask … sort of.

Most folks had their faces sufficiently covered to be effective in helping to stop the spread of the nasty virus living among us.

However, I observed at least a dozen young men with masks down below their noses, even down around their necks, entirely off the face, as they wandered the aisles, stood in line, etc.

This does not work.

We need good public education and admonition on the necessity to wear masks correctly.

Most of all, we need caring about others, to protect us all, and to prevent a return to “Stay at Home” orders.

Please folks, for goodness sake, put on and pull up your masks.
