My mother taught many years at Crescent School. Perhaps some of you reading this remember Mrs. Irene Palzer.
I am also a former student of Crescent School and having returned home to the North Olympic Peninsula, I now have three children attending Crescent School.
After living many years in a large city, I’m very happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest.
I love the Joyce community and the opportunities living here provides for my family — opportunities and experiences that are unique to this part of the world.
That is why I fully support both parts of the upcoming ballot and am voting yes on both the Education Programs and Operations levy and the Capitol Projects levy.
I want the young people living in this beautiful part of the world to have a fully staffed and safe learning environment to help them achieve their potential.
Monies from these levies will provide many educational services and building repairs our students and teachers need.
For a visual, and more detailed, explanation of what the levies provide, you can search for the Crescent Levy channel on YouTube or Crescent Levy 2020 on Facebook.
If you live in the Crescent School District, please vote yes on these much needed levies.
For a small school district, this is one of the biggest and most direct ways to support our community.
