Dr. Unthank is wrong when she said, “I think it’s less dramatic than it’s coming across.”
“The wording is you don’t necessarily need to get tested if you’ve been in close contact with an infected person. It’s not like they’re saying don’t get tested; they’re just giving people some flexibility.”
If you don’t test people who have been exposed who are asymptomatic then you risk spreading the virus.
We need to test more, not less.
This change in the guidelines came from the top, i.e. the president, while Dr. Fauci was in the hospital.
It’s not good science and it’s not good health care.
It looks to me that our health officer doesn’t follow best practices. No wonder cases are rising in Clallam County.
