I am writing this letter in support of Judge Lauren Erickson, who is one of our current Superior Court judges.
She, along with her colleagues, have worked tireless to make our courts safe and functioning during this pandemic and made sure that everyone could still have their day in court.
As a citizen of our county, I see this as a vital function and urge everyone to support her reelection.
I am troubled by the fact that her opponent seems to be not only misrepresenting her own experience, but her time in the community as well.
I have done some research and determined that she has virtually no experience as a litigator or as a judge.
She is not familiar with our community, has tried to prevent the local bar from including her in their bar poll and does not have the competence, experience and commitment to our community as Judge Erickson has demonstrated over her long years of service in Clallam County.
I would urge every voter to investigate this particular race and support Judge Erickson’s reelection.
She has the support of most of the local attorneys, for good reason, and the experience we all need in our judges.
