LETTER: Supports Henninger for hospital commission

Ann Marie Henninger will make an outstanding hospital commissioner.

I’d like to clarify and expose a few things I’ve noticed in recent letters to the editor.

First: Ann Marie Henninger is responsive to citizens who contact her, respectful, and genuinely interested in hearing what others have to say or share.

I have found her to be articulate, caring, fair, transparent, approachable, and reachable, as evidenced by the myriad of ways she can be contacted — through Voter Guide information, telephone, email, via social media on Facebook or Instagram; and by visiting her website at www.votehenninger.com.

Second: Ann Marie has multiple employers and she opted simply to list her professional title of nurse.

Henninger works as a nurse for Sequim’s Little Explorers Early Learning Center, Obria Medical Clinics PNW, Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic and CYO Summer Camps.

A vote for Ann Marie Henninger is the intelligent vote. From her medical and healthcare expertise with 29 years as a nurse, she understands the need for quality healthcare access and affordability. Compare that to a mortgage loan officer and I think the choice is clear.

I’m confident Ann Marie Henninger is the right person for the job. She has shown her commitment to the position by attending board meetings these last two years, twice every month. Her opponent stated in the League of Women Voters candidate forum on June 27 that he has never even attended a meeting.
