It was my privilege to serve as a Clallam County Superior Court judge for 20 years.
Our court is well respected locally and statewide.
Judge Lauren Erickson has been an excellent addition to the court.
She has the ability to listen fairly and empathetically to all sides, understands the law and how it should apply to individual cases, and has much prior experience with the type of cases heard in Superior Court.
Also, importantly, as a long time resident she knows and understands the community in which she presides.
That is no small factor.
