Like most people, I like being heard.
I like when people are truthful.
I like when people are willing to pause, think, and then answer tough questions.
Adam Bernbaum checks all those boxes for me.
Areas where we disagree are simply honest differences of opinion.
Remember those?
Mr. Bernbaum is working hard to earn votes; he earned mine by being willing to have hard conversations and giving well-thought out solutions to many problems vexing our town.
He has plans that will help our hospital towards solvency.
His clear objectives to make housing easier to both achieve and retain are some of the best I have heard.
This is a politician who does precisely what we need: he shares his plans, listens to the thoughts of others, and admits when he isn’t an expert, but is willing to find one.
He knows what to expect in the Legislature and how to best advocate for those of us who don’t live on the I-5 corridor.
If you have a chance to talk with him, do it.
