We have two excellent candidates for the vacant Jefferson County commissioner position.
I wish they could both be on the commission.
But as a previous Port Townsend City Council member, I know that experience matters, especially in these difficult times.
Lorna Smith has the knowledge and experience to quickly tackle the serious issues facing residents of Jefferson County.
I believe this is one of the most important elections I have ever had a chance to vote in.
