A significant election is approaching on Nov. 4.
We have a valuable opportunity to re-elect a proven leader during these extremely challenging times for our local hospital.
Commissioner Ann Marie Henninger has been serving our community as an OMC hospital board member for six years and was elected board president in 2025.
She has proven to be a selfless, calm, steadfast public servant who has demonstrated expertise, integrity and important leadership during these trying times for our community hospital.
She is not only a compassionate nurse of 35 years, but she and her husband have raised their family and volunteered on the Peninsula for the past 29 years.
Here are just a few of Henninger’s accomplishments while in office: developed the job description for hospital commissioners; revised the commissioner vacancy process; created a CEO succession plan; re-initiated board rounding on hospital units and clinics; runs timely meetings on task, sticking to the agenda; enhanced the OMC Commissioner webpage with additional information based on public feedback; makes personal and board education a priority.
Henninger understands that the board is responsible for governance and the executive team is responsible for managing day-to-day operations.
I trust her to be our fearless advocate for OMC at the local, state and federal levels and to uphold her oath of office.
Please vote to re-elect Henninger as she’s an exemplary leader, and she wants to continue to serve our community, which she loves.
