After observing several near collisions at the u-turns on U.S. Highway 101, it became clear that drivers are making U-turns three different ways.
One way is to take a sharp turn into the fast lane.
Another way is to take a not-so-sharp turn into the slow lanes and almost hit the cars using the access road.
The third way is to cross over to the access road and get back on U.S. Highway 101 by making a right turn off the access road onto U.S. Highway 101, making sure you don’t get hit by the drivers that are in a hurry that made a not so sharp turn onto U.S. Highway 101.
I am curious what the correct way is because it isn’t clear from any signs that are posted.
