Encouraged by members of the Sustainability Club from Port Townsend High School, the Port Townsend City Council is discussing a possbile ban on single-use plastic straws.
If you you are wondering why the council is even considering such an ordinance, just review the number of Democratic votes cast for Bernie Sanders versus Hilary Clinton, 135 to 56 in Port Townsend precincts during the 2016 primary.
Additional analysis of Port Townsend precincts will also show that Democratic voters only used their left hands to pull the lever for left of center ideas and issues.
Encouraged by the far-left teachers who support the Al Gore fiction of climate change, the sponge-heads in the high school will demand action.
