I’m very disappointed by the decision not to allow Clallam County early Phase 2 because of the infection of two people.
This virus is very likely to be around for a long time and occasional infections will happen.
Two people out of some 77,000 is a very small percentage compared to other infections.
What I know about those individuals, and yes heard from sources other than the PDN, is they were infected by individuals outside of the county.
The first made a trip to the other side of the Sound and came back with it.
The second, a 90-year-old appears to be infected by a household member.
I am 78 this month so I am in that age group that should worry.
It is my responsibility to follow practices that will minimize my chances of infection, not a government nanny.
We need to look at the big picture as Sweden has not just the current virus situation.
With no community wealth there will be poverty and that also is deadly.
