I watched the Democratic presidential candidate debates, both nights, and the whole time I could hear the Looney Tunes theme in my mind.
I’ve never heard that much insanity and nonsense in a sober crowd of adults in my life.
Then I realized they were talking to their base, and the idea they have a base frightened me.
All of them apparently support illegal aliens and felons voting, and they all raised their hands for “free” medical care for everybody, including aliens.
If you think medical care is expensive now, wait until it’s free.
Free means money people earn is confiscated by government.
They all hate rich corporations. The evil rich is the same tactic the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, the Communist Party in Russia, and the socialists in Venezuela used in their rise to power.
Yet, not a single word was said about what’s happening in Venezuela.
The mainstream media hasn’t covered the Venezuelan people’s failed uprising or the fact that many of the aliens streaming for our border are from there.
The Democratic part of democratic socialism didn’t survive the first Venezuelan election.
It never does.
And, of course, climate change.
It seems we’re doomed if government doesn’t take control of our lives.
The idea that carbon dioxide will destroy the Earth if it goes up slightly ignores both that it is necessary for life on earth and that the level was 20 times higher during the last ice age.
However, you can tax and control people with climate change.
