What did we get out of this election?
Wasn’t change, or new ideas.
We kept one party rule with the Three Amigos, Kilmer and our nanny governor.
We passed up two well-qualified ladies.
We didn’t get improved fishing opportunities — just more curtailments.
Our homeless got more out of COVID-19 than could ever been achieved through legislation, we have needles everywhere. We still have our locomotive on Lauridsen Blvd., rotting away, but it’s asbestos free.
The Coho ferry is sinking, and I can’t go to my favorite restaurant.
There are many vacant buildings on First, Front, Lincoln and side streets; shutting down will not help this one bit.
Our governor receives $187,353 salary, state representatives receive $56,881 and our state senator $52,766 and Kilmer, $174,000.
Where are they on abortion, defunding the police and the Second Amendment?
Do our elected officials think Antifa is a myth or a problem?
One thing we will get is a daily beating of Trump, the most accomplished president in our history.
The medication-assisted treatment clinic proposed for Sequim will happen, partially with your tax dollars.
How sad is it to say all the efforts by the medical field, police, and local government who give needles to addicts, to keep them safe, is wasted effort.
Hep C, the main argument for exchange needles, is now curable.
Good grief.
