In wake of all the shootings in this country, we’re surprised that there aren’t serious penalties for people who own the guns used by children to shoot other children or adults.
We seldom hear about these careless adults being held accountable after a school shooting.
We would suggest having a mandatory prison sentence for any gun owner who fails to keep their weapons in a secure place, resulting in the death or injury of another being.
Gullible Americans have swallowed the theory that our homes are safer if we have guns.
Considering all the shooting deaths in this country each day, it must be obvious by now that this is a lie.
This country has never been such a dangerous place to live.
It seems that a search of accused persons’ homes after a serious crime consistently turns up a small arsenal of weapons and ammo.
Guns are one of the most common items stolen in home burglaries, according to the Department of Justice, so we law-abiding citizens provide an abundant supply of weapons to those we fear the most.
The killings will continue unless people get rid of their guns or secure them properly.
If locked away, what good would they be if someone broke into your house?
Guns seem to kill many more innocent victims than ‘the bad guy’ they were intended for.
Wake up, Americans.
