Enough with the political, pandemic and polarizational negativity expressed in letters to the editor published in the Peninsula Daily News.
There is so much more positive action in our community.
Our local merchants continue to go beyond the norm to assist those in need of extra service.
Two examples are Wilder Auto who picked up and returned our vehicle after replacing the battery and The Warehouse crew who delivered a hospital type bed and recliner for approval without obligation to buy.
Also, the restaurants that have stayed open to indoor and outdoor dining despite pandemic barriers.
The agencies providing services to those in need deserve commendation.
They are Olympic Medical Center, North Olympic Health Physicians, Olympic Medical Home Health, Caregivers Home Health, PenCom, Fire Department EMTs and Clallam County Health and Human Services, among others.
Needless posturing over issues we can’t control stops with you and me for the good of our city, county, state and country.
It’s our Republic if we unite to keep it.
