LETTER: Memorial should stay as a reminder to drive carefully

This is to correct someone’s thinking.

Someone from Sequim wrote in September that someone should remove all memory of Brooke Bedinger who was killed at the age of 19 when her motorcycle crossed over U.S. Highway 101 at Morse Creek.

Everyone who loved her has left a little of themselves there and each and every time coming and going past, brings us driving slower and and honoring her memory even though we never knew her.

The cross and flowers and special items should stay as a reminder to drive with care.
