LETTER: Long, sad season ahead for Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks were thoroughly shellacked on the National stage during a recent Monday Night Football.

How many years have the powers that be been trying to shore up the O-Line?

It seems to be getting progressively worse.

Russell Wilson couldn’t even scramble … there was no separation, and in desperation, he tried too hard with disastrous results.

The running game came out a little at the end … too little, too late.

Thank heavens the D saved them from a worse embarrassment. They were completely outplayed and outclassed, and because of the defense — a solitary bright spot — the score didn’t reflect that.

That said, the worst part of that whole dismal contest is that the Hawks were boring, and even magic man Russell Wilson looked ordinary.

I hope that Pete Carroll has something up his sleeve, or it’s going to be a long, sad season.
