Through my participation on the Port Angeles Utility Advisory Committee, I work with one of our current City Council members, Lee Whetham.
I have found him to have the qualities that make a good citizen legislator in the intent of the Founding Fathers of our nation.
I find him willing to actively listen to all inputs on an issue.
He questions and cares about the impact of plans and budgets on all the city citizens, knows and respects how our city administration works, and lastly is willing to ask hard questions about the completeness of and necessity for planned events.
I hope to see him continue in another term on our City Council.
