LETTER: It may be old-fashioned, but I believe you should stand at attention for national anthem

As a veteran of World War II, I have to agree with President Donald J. Trump that members of the sporting world not standing at attention for the playing of the national anthem (although I won’t use his “salty” language) is “obscene.”

My experience tells me that one should stand tall, with head uncovered, right hand over heart, at attention when our national anthem is being played.

Call me old-fashioned, but these are my views.
