Ignorance meets total gullibility.
Fascism is a political system where there are no individual rights and the state has complete control of all areas of the economy.
It is a bureaucratic state, a dictatorship by the elites.
On the other hand, conservatism is based on individual rights and limited government.
So, clearly only the ignorant would equate conservatism and fascism.
If you’re looking for a fascist, look at groups which demand obedience to political correctness over free speech, who think government can do it best, and someone who doesn’t think the average person can make good decisions.
My goodness, that describes progressivism.
And the center of progressivism?
Why, Washington, D.C.
What a shock.
The federal bureaucrats think progressivism is great.
Guess who else thinks progressivism is great?
All the Democrat politicians and more than half the Republicans.
They rule for their own benefit and blame the results on the other party.
It looks like there’s nothing the American people can do.
But then along came Trump who wants to drain that D.C. swamp.
If the Trump presidency fails, the progressives will own D.C.
It won’t matter which party wins, the elites will rule either way.
And the individual rights conservatives cherish?
They’ll be ground down a little more each day under increasing government until they’re gone.
