Russia and other authoritarian and dictatorial regimes around the world may have lost the Cold War, but they are winning the cyber war.
The enemies of democracy and freedom worked hard to help put Donald Trump and the GOP into power here in the U.S., and are still working hard to keep it that way.
Free elections in democracies around the globe are under attack and this shows no signs of slowing down.
But Trump, the GOP, and ultra-conservative and right-wing groups everywhere do not seem terribly concerned about this.
In fact, many even deny that it is happening.
Why?
Well, duh.
They are the beneficiaries of the attacks on freedom and democracy.
It’s not liberals and Democrats that Putin and his cyber army are trying to get elected, it’s Republicans.
So conservatives, what does that tell you about today’s GOP?
Why are you loyal to a party whose only concern is getting more money and power to those who already have all the power and money?
Why are you loyal to a president who is hell-bent on destroying the Constitution, the Bill Of Rights, the rule of law, integrity, honesty, decency, humanity, separation of powers, separation of church and state, liberty, freedom, checks and balances, government for the people, due process, an independent Justice Department and judiciary, ethics, morality, transparency, equality, equal and fair taxation, accountability, efficiency, effectiveness, sanity and justice?
These things are not “the establishment.”
These are the bones and structure of America and what she stands for.
