Knowledge and intregity
I have known Mike Doherty for over 40 years, both politically and socially.
At no time have I witnessed any “demeaning” or “dismissive” attitude in Mike’s actions towards me or anyone else.
Allegations to the contrary in a recent letter to the editor are nothing more than a desperate attempt to help his much less qualified opponent (“Peach merits another term as Clallam commissioner,” PDN, Sept. 27).
Mike Doherty has always been open to, and in fact solicitous of, others’ opinions and ideas.
He has more experience working with citizens, committees, boards, public interest groups, the state Legislature, and the U.S. Congress than any other local government official in the county.
This experience, and Mike Doherty’s knowledge and integrity, make him the ideal candidate for District 3 county commissioner.
