LETTER: Disagrees with Brian Pruiett’s actions against Steve Tharinger at debate

From Sequim

A recent letter defended Brian Pruiett for his actions against Steve Tharinger in a local debate.

A first letter called out Mr. Pruiett for his aggressive stance against Tharinger.

The response seems to believe that Mr. Pruiett is not capable of such behavior as he is a veteran.

I had to do some checking and did find that Mr. Pruiett had indeed resorted to what appeared to be ad hominem attacks and generally blamed Tharinger for perceived inactions by the state Legislature.

To make the statement that Mr. Pruiett is not, or was not, a bully defies logic and assumes the perfect human being.

As a veteran, Mr. Pruiett is not allowed enhanced standing over Mr. Tharinger or any other person.

If he can not debate on the issues, but rather resorts to the tactics described to me, Mr. Pruiett is not worthy of a vote for office.

And should the letter’s author want to question my bona fides she should be advised that I am a veteran and was an earlier member of the Voices For Veterans.
