It appears that Trump’s alleged effort at “draining the swamp” has only placed him sloshing about in the swamp up to his knees in muddy water.
His arbitrary approach to everything he does not agree with, says, or reiterates has made many noble efforts hopeless.
The ability to see only his way has made even trying to listen to his speeches a disagreeable and unpleasant effort.
The upcoming months will be filled with belittling name calling, all the most outlandish accusations about every candidate and financed by wealthy backers who do not care about anything but their own particular interests, certainly nothing that would benefit this country.
Every Democratic candidate running would make a better president than Trump.
There are even Republicans who have long ago caught on to Trump’s antics and tactics, who would make good prospects with common sense, a desire to return to “both sides of the aisle,” or if only to improve our nation’s status abroad.
But he has managed to instill fear into the hearts of what were decent Republicans now threatened with the loss of their good intentions and livelihoods.
And, to conclude, he also does not seem to be able to remove the name Obama from his limited vocabulary.
