‘Give and take’ now the name of the game

Easy money is over

Since Donald J. Trump became our president, some people are having a difficult time accepting we have a successful businessman as president who understands wheeling and dealing.

Unlike a community organizer who ran around like the Easter bunny, handing out “other people’s money,” for nothing in return.

Some people seem to ignore reality and when damage control is necessary, a wake-up call hurts when the Easter basket is taken away.

What is going on worldwide, as well as in our own country, “changes” taking place, has people wringing their hands in disbelief that someone has told them “no.”

No to the fact that give and take is now the name of the game.

Countries spoiled by the United States giving them billions of dollars for nothing in return, are having tantrums.

Our own states that expect federal funds — but choose not to obey federal laws — are stomping their feet like spoiled children when funds are denied due to costs out-of-hand for destructive choices made to our country.

Some of us compare these examples to a family being responsible and respecting our laws, but is suddenly hit with their 10-year-old bringing 10 friends home and telling the parents these friends will now live with them.

The 10-year-old tells his parents they are expected to pay for the friends’ every demand, and no questions asked.

Any bells going off?

Hopefully, we get our country back and respected once again in the world.
