A Yule ball, concerts and plays are offered this weekend on the North Olympic Peninsula.
• Big Brass Yule Ball is planned for Saturday at the American Legion Hall, 209 Monroe St., Port Townsend.
The Brass Screw Consortium and Olympic Peninsula Steam will host the ball, which is for those 21 and older, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 at the door.
Olympic Express Big Band will bring brassy horns and rhythm for an evening of dancing.
• Candlelight Concert: Wild Rose Chorale will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church at 609 Taylor St.
Admission is by donation at the door.
In keeping with COVID-19 protocols, audiences will be required to mask and show proof of vaccination at the Sunday concert.

• Chris Switzer will perform at the Port Angeles Eagles, 2843 E. Myrtle St., from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
The cover charge is $10 per person, $8 for members.
• Chez Jazz Trio will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m Saturday at Wind Rose Cellars, 143 W. Washington St., Sequim.
No cover charge, but reservations are recommended at 360-681-0960.
• Martin Sosa will perform from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday in Spirits Bar and Grill at the Alcohol Plan, 310 Hadlock Bay Road, Port Hadlock.
No cover will be charged.
• Musings, an exhibit of recent acrylics from Port Townsend-based painter and hair stylist David James Bellecci, continues through Dec. 31 at Uptown Dental Clinic.
The clinic, at 642 Harrison St., Port Townsend, is open to the public for viewing from 8:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
• Port Townsend Urban sketchers will sketch at Fort Worden at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The group will meet in front of the fireplace inside the Commons, 210 Battery Way.
After sketching at locations around the fort, the group will reconvene in the Commons at 12:15 p.m. to share their work and take a photo.
The event is free and open to sketchers of all skill levels.

• Makers Market, Light Art are both offered at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center at 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The Makers Market will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sunday in the Esther Webster Gallery.
Visitors can walk the grounds of Webster’s Woods from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to enjoy the light art in the forest through Dec. 28.
• The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is on stage at Olympic Theatre Arts at 414 N. Sequim Ave.
The comedy Christmas play is performed at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 18, with tickets costing $20 for general admission and $15 for students.

• The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, a dramatic sequel to Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice,” is performed at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse at 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Upcoming performances are at 7:30 tonight, Saturday and Tuesday as well as a Sunday matinee this weekend.

• Winter Ice Village offers ice skating daily through Jan. 2 at 121 W. Front St., Port Angeles.
On Saturday, it will begin to be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through closing day, except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, when hours will be from noon to 9 p.m. Today, hours will be from noon to 9 p.m.
It closes for 30 minutes at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for ice resurfacing.
Unlimited daily skating costs $15 per day for people ages 13 and older, and $10 per day for ages 3-12. Children younger than 3 are not allowed on the ice.
• “Goldilocks and the Ultimate Rampage” is presented at the Little Theater at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles, and carries on until Jan. 1.
The Juan de Fuca Foundation for the Arts and PA Panto are presenting the original show with a 21-member cast of local singers, actors and dancers.
Curtain times are 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 31, while skipping Christmas weekend; matinees start at 2 p.m. this Sunday and on Jan. 1.
